Your Role

As a Business Development Executive – E-commerce Acquiring, you’ll lead our charge into the world of Tier 1 online merchants, from large retailers and marketplaces to logistics giants and payment aggregators. You’ll build high-volume, high-impact partnerships that power real growth — both for EFT Corporation and our clients.

This is a strategic individual contributor role for a tech-savvy, commercially sharp deal-closer who thrives in fast-moving, high-stakes environments.

What You’ll Do

Merchant Acquisition:

  • Land and launch high-volume e-commerce clients with robust tech needs and serious scale.
  • Own your targets — and crush them.

End-to-End Sales Execution:

  • Lead the full sales cycle from first call to go-live.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams to deliver winning solutions.

Competitive Selling:

  • Articulate and promote our unique strengths in pricing, tech, and reliability.
  • Win competitive bids and secure long-term value.

Pipeline Power:

  • Keep your pipeline sharp in HubSpot — track opportunities, forecast performance, and report with clarity.

Relationship Building:

  • Build long-term trust with merchant decision-makers.
  • Drive retention through proactive relationship management and support.

Market Insight:

  • Stay ahead of trends in e-commerce, fintech, and acquiring.
  • Share strategic insights that shape how we grow.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years’ experience in payments, acquiring, or merchant services — specifically in e-commerce.
  • Proven track record with enterprise deals (think R10M+/month transaction volume).
  • Deep understanding of checkout flows, PSPs, APIs, risk/fraud, and reconciliation.• Commercial fluency: interchange, margins, pricing models, and settlement mechanics.
  • Confident with Postilion, Eclipse, or other leading payment platforms.
  • Strong communicator who can win over C-suite, procurement teams, and technical buyers.
  • Agile, self-motivated, and collaborative with high ethical standards.
